The third edition of our symposium, a significant event that has established itself as an annual must-attend in the field of tourism.
This symposium stood out for its commitment to providing a dynamic exchange space, in-depth analysis, and debate on the mutations and transformations of the tourism industry, both in Morocco and worldwide. It provided a platform where researchers, practitioners, and sector stakeholders could explore, question, and reinvent the concepts and social and managerial paradigms related to tourism and society as a whole.
The 2018 edition specifically highlighted the crucial role of social networks in the evolution of tourism. At a time when social media influence our lives like never before, we faced fundamental questions about their impact on travelers and tourist organizations. We also explored the opportunities and challenges that these platforms present in terms of technological innovation, co-creation, and collective intelligence in the tourism sector.
We had the privilege of welcoming renowned speakers, among whom His Excellency Mr. André Azoulay, advisor to His Majesty, inaugurated this edition with inspiring words.
These three days were characterized by stimulating exchanges, deep strategic reflection, and fruitful collaboration. We were at the heart of debates that contributed to shaping the future of tourism.
