Dr. Larbi SAFAA holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the University of Angers (2012) and is a faculty member at the Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Cadi Ayyad University, since 2013. His research focuses on tourism management through a multidisciplinary lens, exploring topics such as destination dynamics, creative tourism, sustainable tourism, and organizational performance. As President of the Resilience Center of Researchers and Experts in Tourism, he plays a pivotal role in advancing academic research, training, and expertise in tourism and heritage. Under his leadership, the Center addresses sustainability challenges, digital transformation, and AI applications in service industries. It has also established itself as a key academic institution, organizing annual symposiums and fostering international collaboration. Dr. SAFAA has coordinated thematic publications in leading journals such as Téoros, Marché & Organisation (Cairn), Études Caribéennes, and Mondes du Tourisme. He also initiated and leads major scientific events, including the Marrakech International Conference on Tourism Research (MCIRT). Additionally, he organized the 8th edition of Les Rendez-vous Champlain in Marrakech and the 9th edition of the Sino-European Tourism Conference, also in Marrakech, further strengthening academic dialogue and international cooperation in tourism research.
