Professor at the Essaouira Higher School of Technology (ESTE) Head of the Department of Management, Tourism, and Communication at ESTE. He holds a Ph.D. in "Tourism and Territorial Management." His research focuses on the corporate social and environmental responsibility of tourism businesses. He has been a visiting professor at the University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée in Paris and at the Higher School of Francophonie for Administration and Management in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since 2016, he has been an organizing member of five editions of the International Tourism Conference at Cadi Ayyad University. He has also participated in projects funded by the H2020 program, such as the GEOPARK project. Khalid El Housni has several years of professional experience in responsible tourism within pilot establishments in Morocco, such as "Terres d AMANAR." He is also the vice-president of the Resilience Center for Researchers and Experts in Tourism.
